Montgomery, AL, September 16, 2026 – Kowa Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. (KPA) today announced that scientific data on K-911 (bimatoprost grenod, also known as NCX 470) will be presented at the American Academy of Optometry’s 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place September 30-October 3 in Anaheim, CA. Attendees may visit KPA at Booth 971.
K-911 is an investigational, once-daily nitric oxide-donating bimatoprost eye drop being developed for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Nitric oxide targets conventional outflow through the trabecular meshwork-Schlemm’s canal pathway, while bimatoprost enhances uveoscleral outflow.
