ProEthic Pharmaceuticals Named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s 12th Annual Hot 100 Listing of the Fastest-Growing New Companies in the U.S.

Montgomery, Alabama, May 25, 2006 - ProEthic Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately funded specialty pharmaceutical company that acquires, develops and markets niche prescription products, announced today that it has been named once again to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Annual Hot 100 Listing of the fastest-growing new companies in the U.S. ProEthic placed 14th on the publication’s 2006 rankings, soaring 12 spots from its 26th place ranking in 2005.

ProEthic has achieved significant and rapid growth since its inception in 2001. The company began its sales and marketing activities in 2002 with five full-time sales representatives promoting three prescription drugs. Three years later, the company ended 2005 with over 80 sales representatives and 15 products. Year-end net sales totaled almost $22 million.
