Montgomery, Alabama, January 12, 2004 - ProEthic Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Montgomery, Alabama-based distributor of prescription drugs, has announced a significant expansion in its sales department. ProEthic's plan is to grow its sales force by more than 100% - increasing from the current 38 sales representatives to over 80 by August.
Management’s vision to accelerate ProEthic’s expansion confirms its confidence in the future success of the company, while exceeding ProEthic’s projected plan for national coverage in 2005. Using this plan, ProEthic will be increasing sales and distribution coverage in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Louisiana, Kansas, South Carolina, and Virginia and reaching new markets in California, Florida, Kentucky, Nevada, Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, Arizona, and Oklahoma.
ProEthic will also be launching five new products no later than July of this year. The new products will be for treatment of low back pain, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), age or drug induced vitamin deficiencies, and a new product for relief of the signs and symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
ProEthic is an emerging specialty pharmaceutical company enhancing treatment strategies initially in the areas of pain and migraine. Founded in 2001, the privately held company focuses its efforts on the acquisition, development, licensing, and marketing of pharmaceutical products.
